I was looking for just the right boarding facility for my two dogs. Teddy Bear is a 5 year old Chihuahua and Tootsie Baby is a two year Yorkie (who still looks like a baby because her ears never came up) January of '08 we moved up to the Dallas area. My dogs were used to a suite from the boarding place we used in Corpus. I came across The Boarding Bungalow while surfing the web. It's motif is surfing and the whole place is decorated as a beach hang out. The suites are very spacious. They really cater to the their clients and the owners too. Kimberly is the Manager, owner and she is the most loving person and will try to satisfy all requests. We keep our little yorkie cut short and the groomer is the best so far that I have come across. She's adorable when they are done and I don't know how they can get those bows in her hair. They have two sections of suites, one for small dogs and one for larger. They have an outside walking area with toys and a cabana for play time that has heat and air. They also cater to cats and some other small pets. Since Jan. "08 we have used the Bungalow numerous times and have found it to be a marvelous and reassuring place to bring our babies. Tootsie goes to Kimberly like she is a long lost Aunt and our grouchy Teddy Bear doesn't seem as timid when we bring them in. I highly recommend The Boarding Bungalow for a fantastic service in the past and the future. Just look at their web site, you might see a picture of Teddy and Toots.

I read the reviews for many boarding houses and none compared to this one. I decided to give BB a try, the results were magnificent. When we got our dog Sasha she was 6 weeks old and we were (still are) novices in the dog owning arena. The boarding Bungalow not only put our minds at ease by sending pictures daily but they helped us house train her and teach her to fetch. Kim is WONDERFUL and has become a friend. Most businesses just see you as an impersonal client, but the staff at the Bungalow went out of their way to get to know us and help us take care of our brand new edition. I am able to call when I have questions about her (if you call a vet they will 100% say bring the dog in NOW!!) they really put my mind at ease. Crystal is there in the AM Kim is there in the PM and the rest of the staff are always ready to help.

I guess I should mention how Sasha seems to like being at the Bungalow more than she does being at home. She gets SOOO excited to go in the morning that she can barely contain herself and though she is sad to watch us leave she has a WONDERFUL time playing with the various dogs at BB. It is a great way to socialize a new or fearful dog.

I am almost done please bear with me; The Bungalow also helps rehabilitate rescue dogs from Paws in the City. If you are looking for a playmate for your little one bring them in for a stay cation and I bet you a dollar the staff will be able to help you find a dog that will mesh well with your dogs personality.

I recommend the Boarding Bungalow with 5 paws!!!

If you take your dog there he or she will be able to tell you just how much fun they actually had.

We Love The Boarding Bungalow

I have taken my Golden Retriever, Brody, to The Boarding Bungalow a few times and he always has the best time. His longest stay was when I went to Galveston for a few days and, when I picked him up, he was so happy and you could tell he had been very well cared for. They took some adorable pictures of him having play time and with one of the staff and several more. I highly recommend using them any time. You can tell they really care about the pets that they board and they certainly know what they're doing. I'd give them ten stars if they had that many on their rating chart.

A Customer for Life

I was very anxious about boarding my Golden Retriever. We generally have someone come to the house to let her out and play with her when we leave town, but it wasn't an option for this last trip. It was a little further from home than I would have normally gone, but a friend of mine had such a great experience with Kimberly and her staff, that we gave it a go.When we got back, our pup was in a GREAT mood (and I was of course expecting total devastation). We got detailed information on her stay, even some sweet pics and I could just tell how much they cared for her.We will be customers for life!

Both of my dogs had a great time. They had a good relationship with the employees when we dropped them off and picked them up. The pictures they sent us via email gave us piece of mind to know they were having a great time and being treated properly.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

Never did I think I could find a place just right! Yudi loves being at her Bungalow. In fact I think she loves it more than home! I Love the staff they send pictures to me at work, which makes my day!!! I love how great they treat her because she is such a diva! The one on one play time make me so glad because of how many other boarding places have 40 dogs in one room thats just too small and sometimes not even two people watching. I feel that she is safe and when i pick her up you can tell she just had the time of her life:)

Wow! Great place and great location. My dogs had a blast. They have a great concept with the private playtimes - and they don't charge extra for it! I already made my holiday reservations for my boys! Would highly recommend if you're picky pet parent!
